No gain without pain, the beauty mantra

A female burden for centuries has been the removal of unwanted body hair. The concept is that by using light energy to heat up the hair follicles in the skin the follicle is destroyed preventing re-growth of the hair. So after selecting an area and preparing it with some simple cleansing and sectioning with a marker,goggles are donned for the laser process. We can’t lie, it’s not pain free, but considering the other options available, if it does remove hair permanently, the short period of discomfort felt is well worth it. We found the Renew Medica staff to be very friendly and relaxing and are happy to admit that we are now addicted to the laser and will be saving up for further treatments.
